"My advice for aspiring writers is go to New York. And if you can’t go to New York, go to the place that represents New York to you, where the standards for writing are high, there are other people who share your dreams, and where you can talk, talk, talk about your interests. Writing books begins in talking about it, like most human projects, and in being close to those who have already done what you propose to do." Walter Kirn
When I go to New York City, I meet with the most inspiring people on the planet. No joke. We gather and learn and discuss the world of fitness, yoga, nutrition, meal design, and marketing under the direction of Dr. Jack Barnathan. Listening to him speak about the direction of where fitness has been and where it could go is nothing short of inspiring. I travel to New York City to meet with Dr. Jack and his tribe of NYStrength members because when we surround ourselves with people who uplift us, we cannot help but become greater ourselves. And then we go home and get better at uplifting those who surround us. Look around you, find your tribe. Find the people who inspire you the most and spend more time with them. Seek out these people. Become these people. And join me in New York City sometime, it's where my strength comes from.
